Running the installation in batch mode

An interactive installation receives the necessary information by prompting and recording your input in each dialog box. By contrast, a silent, or batch mode, installation does not prompt you for input. Rather, a silent installation reads user response information from a response file, named install.ini.

This section describes running the OpenEdge Installation Utility in batch mode. Complete and custom installations support the batch feature.
